Our Commitment

ezyWill is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

Conformance Status

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Accessibility Features

Our website and application include the following accessibility features:

Navigation & Structure

  • Consistent navigation throughout all pages
  • Logical heading structure (H1, H2, H3, etc.)
  • Skip navigation links to bypass repeated content
  • Descriptive page titles and headings
  • Breadcrumb navigation where appropriate

Visual Design

  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Information is not conveyed by colour alone
  • Clear visual focus indicators for keyboard navigation
  • Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes

Content & Media

  • Alternative text for meaningful images
  • Decorative images are marked appropriately
  • Clear, plain language content
  • Links have descriptive text indicating their purpose
  • Form fields have associated labels

Interactive Elements

  • All functionality available via keyboard
  • No keyboard traps
  • Form error messages are clearly identified
  • Sufficient time provided to complete actions
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second

Assistive Technology Support

  • Compatible with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
  • ARIA landmarks and labels where appropriate
  • Semantic HTML structure
  • Form inputs with proper labelling and error handling

Known Limitations

While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, some areas may have limitations:

  • PDF Documents: Will documents generated as PDFs may have limited accessibility features. We provide HTML previews where possible.
  • Third-Party Content: Some embedded third-party services may not meet our accessibility standards.
  • Older Browsers: Some features may not work fully in browsers that don't support modern accessibility APIs.

ezyWill is designed to be compatible with the following:

  • Current and recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
  • Screen readers: VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows)
  • Screen magnification software

  • Keyboard-only navigation
