How We Handle Your Data
Transparency is key. Here's exactly what happens with your information.
What data do we collect?
We collect only what's necessary to create your Will: your personal details, beneficiary information, asset descriptions, and preferences. We never collect unnecessary data or sell your information to third parties.
How is my data stored?
Your data is stored in encrypted form on secure Australian servers. Personal data is encrypted at rest using AES-256, and the Digital Vault uses zero-knowledge encryption where only you hold the keys.
Who can access my information?
Only you can access your Will and vault contents. Our support team can assist with account issues but cannot view your encrypted vault data. We never share or sell your personal information.
How long do you keep my data?
Your account and Will data remain as long as you're an active user. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently erased within 30 days, except where legally required for record-keeping.
What happens if ezyWill shuts down?
Your Will is a physical document you print and sign—it exists independently of ezyWill. We encourage keeping printed copies. In the unlikely event of service discontinuation, we'd provide ample notice and data export tools.
